After helping coordinate conversations with relatives and encouraging him to take time away to evaluate his options more clearly, we helped arrange travel so he could visit family and explore housing opportunities near them.
Because he was unable to board his two large dogs during the trip, my husband and I took turns staying at his home and caring for them while he was away.

Over the years, we later helped the same client move back to Colorado—and eventually back to Iowa again after she realized Colorado was no longer financially sustainable for her long-term needs.
That’s a lot of moving van miles over the years!
